1. Complete Upwork Profile: Make sure you have 100% complete profile. Fill all the information on your profile starting from introduction to your skill set and certificates.

2. Cover Letter / Resume: It plays very vital role. This is the place where you can tell the client that you can do the job and how you have helped in the past to the people with same requirement. 8. Quality of Work: While cost plays very vital role, quality of work has same importance too. So make sure your cover letter focus on the quality you deliver and it has to be industry standard.


9. Communication: This is one of the biggest concern of buyer on freelancing platforms. Most of the buyers want the people they hire to speak fluent english. So, if you are low on this, take learning english classes to improve.


10. Testimonials:  Ask your past clients to give video testimonials. Text based testimonials are not working nowadays .
